
1. What is Telehealth?
Telehealth is a virtual online platform for remote services with a healthcare professional through a phone call or video chat. Remote healthcare services, such as remote patient monitoring, and secure messaging improves healthcare access and provide individualized care for clients.
2. Will my healthcare services and information be safe?
All services through Legacy Essential Health will be HIPAA protected through safe URL sites. You can request a detailed copy of your visit with any healthcare provider through an email request.
3. Does Legacy Essential Health accept private insurance, including Medicaid, or Medicare?
No we do not. We only accept credit card payments from major credit cards through our secured payment options. Any client can request a copy of their healthcare visit/records with fee schedule and ICD 10 codes to submit to their insurance provider as an Out of Network Provider for reimbursement. Clients reimbursement for services through Legacy Essential Health are not guaranteed at full payment for services through insurance companies (payment depends on your insurance company). Legacy Essential Health does not negotiate service payments or file insurance documents for reimbursement of any kind, it is up to the client to file.
Payment for Services:
Initial Virtual Care Consultation: $125
Includes consultation with provider to discuss medical history, lab review (if applicable), patient intake form, diagnosis, treatment, and management of non-acute illnesses and/or primary care prevention needs.
Care Follow-up visit: $75
Includes follow up for any assessment of individualized treatment plan, lab review, checkin, or medication refills.
4. Can I get required labs from Legacy Essential Health?
No, we are a virtual platform. However, Legacy Essential Health will take labs from your private provider within 6 months of a scheduled appointment. You will be able to upload labs into our electronic health records (EHR) platform before or after your scheduled appointment. If labs are required clients will be referred to a local laboratory office.
5. How do patients access the electronic health portal?
Clients of Legacy Essential Health can access our secured health portal through the home page under Admin tab then click the CharmEHR link on the homepage.
Healthcare Consent Forms: Are required before appointment with our providers. We ask that the forms: Consent Telehealth, HIPAA and Privacy, and the patient's medical intake forms be completed in the patient portal before the initial visit.
6. Pharmacy Notice and Shipping: Legacy Essential Health utilizes a licensed pharmacy that is fully accredited for our health & wellness products listed on our website. The product shipping includes dry/cold shipping packaging. Due to FDA regulations, all products are non refundable once order is processed, shipped, and received by the client, and there are no exchanges unless product has been damaged in route.
7. How are products delivered?
Products that require refrigeration will be delivered in a cold box by UPS/FedEX to your residential address, not to a PO BOX. We ask that if you make arrangements to receive the package within 12 hours of delivery.
8. When can products be ordered from the store?
Orders will be fulfilled once a consultation has been completed with one of our providers to ensure clients are knowledgeable about the products purchasing.
